New Theology Conference - Manchester, October 15/16

Join us as church leaders, church members, academics and students come together to explore what it means to be genuinely inclusive and authentically evangelical, hosted at Luther King House by the Inclusive Evangelical Research Group, a network of inclusive evangelical scholars and theologians.

The gathering opens on Thursday evening with a keynote address by Professor John Barclay: Is There a Gospel Case for Inclusion?

Friday sessions run in parallel, a ‘Church’ track focused on church leaders and members, and an ‘Academic’ track focused on practitioners and students. Attendees can mix and match sessions.

Other confirmed contributors include Andrew Perriman, Sue Ann Mak, Jonathan Tallon, Peter Russell, Rachel Humphrey, and Steve Burnhope. The ‘Church’ track will also feature a panel conversation with church leaders recounting their pastoral and theological journeys as they led their churches to become fully inclusive. Each session includes time for questions and discussion.

The conference runs from Thursday evening through Friday afternoon.
